Mn-phosphorites on the Blake Plateau are most commonly found as pavement, but there are areas of broken pavement that have been re-cemented by further Mn-phos precipitation from the seawater (see Rock 2). This rock contains several different Mn-phosphorite rock slabs cemented together, along with foraminiferan limestone (see Rock 5).

Collected on JSLII Dive 3462, Wreckfish Cave, Blake Plateau (1750 ft).
