Another, smaller chunk of Mn-phosphorite was collected near to Rock 3. This piece, however, was more oxidized than Rock 3, and had several samll (1-2 cm) sponges growing on it. One end (left in photo) had foraminiferan limestone cemented to it (see Rock 5).
