“The cruise was really fun and interesting. The crew of the R/V Savannah was really nice
and helpful. It’s a learning experience. Most of the experiments are hands-on. After the
first few days the professors and scientists let you work on your own and are just there to
supervise. You learn a lot and learn to operate equipment which might be
helpful for a job or working in someone’s lab in the future.”
