Few specimens of this species were collected. It is characterized by an absence of lunules and a
nearly circular test. The petal area is slightly raised on the dorsal side (left view). Test diameter is ~6.5 cm.

Beam trawls used in the Transect Program do not adequately
collect burrowing organisms,
so the distribution and abundance of this species is not well documented.
