Name: Sean Hitchman

What is your major? Marine Biology with a minor in Leisure Studies (USC)

How did you become interested in this major or field? Always had a fascination with sharks. The more I learned about them and their environment, the more I wanted to learn about the whole ocean.

Where do you see yourself five years from now? Hopefully completed my masters degree and working in or near the ocean somewhere and/or working towards a PhD.

What part of the research on this trip has interested you the most? I was mostly interested in the macrobenthos and larger fauna we pulled off the bottom with the dredge and the beam trawl.

What part of the research has interested you the least? I was least interested in the sediment samples.
