What is your major? Marine Biology

How did you become interested in this major or field? My interest developed over several years through course work, hands-on experience, and even television programs that have highlighted the different aspects of marine science.

Where do you see yourself five years from now? I see myself completing graduate work and moving on to obtain a PhD in marine science or oceanography.

What part of the research on this trip has interested you the most? Collecting and identifying the different organisms at each site. Also, comparing the types of organisms found at one site to those found another.

What part of the research has interested you the least? Collecting water samples with the Niskin bottles to obtain information about the pigments present in the water column (eg. chlorohyll).

Did you get sea sick on this trip? No.
