This species differs from C. luetkeni because of the greater inflation of the petal area and
rounded edges. Also, the test is more elongate. Test diameter is ~10.5 cm.




This species has a raised central portion of the disc.
It is a nice 'intermediate' form between a sand dollar
and a sea biscuit.
