What is your major? Marine Biology (Geology minor)

How did you become interested in this major or field? I’ve always loved the ocean. I grew up fishing and doing other marine-related activities.

Where do you see yourself five years from now? I hope to have my undergraduate degree and hopefully be in a Masters program.

What part of the research on this trip has interested you the most? I enjoyed all the techniques and processes of gathering data.

What part of the research has interested you the least? It’s hard to say. Everything is so fascinating. All the water samples don’t seem very interesting but I am interested to see what information comes from them.

Did you get sea sick on this trip? Indeed. First time ever on day one. It sucked!
