Greetings from Gray’s Reef

Today was another normal day here at Gray’s Reef. Everyone was busy getting their experiments ready and setting up their experiment plot on the reef.

We still do not have the main engines. According to one of the engineers it is an electrical problem. Don’t worry though , we still have the Z-Drives so we are not stuck. The main office is sending someone out tomorrow to see if they can fix the problem.

According to the latest weather report there is a front moving in either tonight or tomorrow and they are saying that the winds are going to be about 20 knots and the seas are going to be 4-6 feet. The captain has decided that we are going to start steaming back to port tomorrow afternoon, which will take 12 hours on the Z-drive engines. The plan for tomorrow is to do some serious diving in the morning and then head back to Savannah.

Until then,

Ryan
